Morph, Sage of?the Ages,?enlightens Hunter Wainright on the true love.??

?Love is the most misunderstood word on your planet,??the sage?told Hunter.

??Humans confuse love with lust, infatuation, promises and obligations.

??True love is unconditional and asks for nothing. Love has no requirements.

??Once you discover real love, you shall truly enjoy the dance of life.?

??How?? Hunter asked.

?Humans enter into relationships for the purpose of getting something from the other person, rather than giving something back.

?They believe the other person is supposed to make them happy and secure.

?During your relationship with Eve you have already displayed human behaviors that can only result in problems?turmoil.?

?I just want Eve to listen to me,? Hunter said. ?Talk to me.?

?I already know how you imagine Eve responding to your advances.?

?You can?t read my mind,? Hunter said.

?I do not have to.?

?Okay, tell me. What are these things that I expect to hear from Eve??

??You believe it is extremely romantic to hear her say that she was nothing until you came along, that she will change for you; that you complete her and make her life worth living.

??You imagine her telling you that she worries about your health, your safety and your happiness.

??That she worries about you and only you, that you are her whole life, all she thinks about is you, that she will die for you.?

?What?s wrong with all those things?? Hunter asked.

?They are not true love,? the sage replied, ??simply a counterfeit version.

?I can sense that you have been agonizing and worrying about what she is thinking, how she?s acting, what her expectations are.

?You are dying to know whether she loves you or not.?

Hunter bit his lip.?

?You believe by forcing your love on Eve, she will love you and then you will feel lovable and secure.

?You believe she will complete you. You believe you need her for your happiness.?

?You?re right, I do believe that.?

?This is why you are love sick. This is why you are unhappy with yourself. How would you feel if Eve told you she loved you??

?I?d be the happiest guy in the universe.?

?Yes, for a few moments, maybe for a few daynights. But eventually you would begin to question how long you can keep Eve?s love. Whether or not you had to change to keep her love and admiration.

?You would also expect her to meet your expectations. Arguments or extended periods of silence would be inevitable.

?Over time, the relationship is lost because you and Eve will have lost touch with your own souls.?

Hunter frowned. ?Then, what?s considered a good relationship??

?The relationship you have with your Self is the one that must be nurtured and cherished or all other relationships shall fail.

??The answer lies within you, my son. My message is, ?You must first love your self, before you can love another.? It is such a simple concept. ?To thine own self be true.? Your enlightenment shall come when you love yourself. Then, and only then, can you truly love Eve.?

??But I think I already do love myself,? Hunter said.

??Of course you do. Everything you do is for yourself. That is your nature, human nature.

??It is your primitive nature that shall prevent you from obtaining true love. This is because low self-image corrupts your thoughts.

??You think you love yourself, but it is your grand feeling of being conceited, narcissistic, vain, selfish.

??Your loving feeling is actually your virus producing low self-esteem thoughts convincing you how happy you are.?

The sage gazed at Hunter. ?When you suffer from low self-image you believe with all your heart that you love yourself.

??Until the emotional virus is cured, humans cannot change their thoughts, therefore, they shall never know true love.

??Only the fraudulent version of love, a poor imitation of the real thing.

???You are infatuated and blinded by love.?

??Blind or not, it feels great,? Hunter said. ?What should I do about it??

?Relax. Be patient with Eve and focus on yourself.

??The harder you try to win Eve?s heart, the more resistance you shall create for yourself.

??Do not seek the favor of Eve. Do not be concerned about her opinion of you. Do not allow her opinion to affect your life. Do not worry about her feelings for you.

??Time shall make you the wiser. Allow truth to always be your guide, your inner strength. When you learn to love yourself unconditionally, your relationship with Eve instantly changes.

??You shall see her in a new light. You shall love her even more than you do now.?
