Two weeks before the urban drama Rent arrives at York Little Theatre to tug on your heartstrings, the cast and crew will give the community a little taste of what?s to come.
The fundraising cabaret performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 15, will be brimming with the energetic Rent spirit, featuring musical numbers and rock songs. Admission is by donation, and proceeds will be split between the theater and The Black and White Party, a York-based nonprofit helping in the fight against HIV/AIDS in the region.
While at the show, guests can pick up raffle tickets in the Ultimate Rent-Head Raffle for the chance to win dance lessons, show tickets and Rent memorabilia. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.
Show your Rent spirit by dropping in for the fundraiser at the theater, 27 S. Belmont St., Spring Garden Township.
